The main reason for going to California Adventure was to go to Ariel's Grotto to have a special lunch with all of the Disney Princesses. We ate like royalty and had a wonderful time. L had an absolute blast.
After lunch and a couple more rides, we headed back over to Disneyland. We were able to ride several other rides (some of which we hadn't been able to the day before due to mechanical issues). Because of the shorter than normal lines (and the use of Parent Passes for rides L couldn't ride on), we were able to hit every ride that we had wanted to cover, and even some a couple of times. L loved Small World and Mad Hatter's Tea Party.
We ended the evening watching the evening parade. We had a seat right up front, and had a great view. L's eyes were priceless, she ate up every character and float that passed by and because we saw it at the very beginning of the parade route, we were able to get up and go ride a few more rides before the park closed.
Needless to say, Disneyland has been a wonderful experience, and not one we'll soon forget. Tomorrow it's on to Malibu, and I'm sure we'll have some great adventures there as well.

Wow, it sounds like so much fun. We wish we could have been there to see Leah's face and even to see both of you watching her. Leah looks absolutely beautiful in her dress. We hope you have a blast in Malibu as well. Say hi to the Watsons for us.
Leah looks like a little princess! I am glad you had such a wonderful time as well. Keep in touch! Love, Mindy
