Our trip to Dallas

This weekend G, LQ (my sister-in-law), L and I made a trip up to Dallas. We left Saturday morning and got there just in time to check in at the hotel and head to Six Flags. Six Flags was beautiful.
They had Christmas decorations and lights everywhere. We rode a couple of rides and saw a show, but mostly just wandered around taking in the sights and smells. They had wonderful holiday foods. L's favorite ride was, as always, the teacups.

It was really cold out and finally felt like winter. We ended the night all bundled up at the parade, before walking back to the hotel.

Sunday morning we had breakfast and went to Louis Tussaud's Palace of Wax and the Ripley's Believe It or Not museum. I had never been to either and was skeptical after seeing the cost of tickets. We decided to go on in and had a wonderful time. There was so much to see! L even enjoyed it.

We spent several hours there. G and I even had our hands made out of wax. It was pretty neat. Then we headed back to Houston. We had a great time overall!
