Week in a nutshell

The past 10 days or so have been really good. I feel like I am finally caught up on things. I got the house cleaned and back in order from the holidays and even managed to get the carpets clean. We got our taxes done. Yippee! I went and used several gift certificates that I've had for a while and got a massage and a pedicure. L was with me when I went to get the pedicure and they gave her one too. Pretty sad when I'm getting my first at 28 and so is she at 2. Oh well! She loved it! She got hot pink with a flower and silver sparkles. They didn't ask if I wanted sparkles. I guess she's cuter. When we got in the car she immediately asked if we could do it again sometime.

L has always been very motherly, but she's taken it to a new level this week. She has been putting her babies in her shirt and walking around like a pregnant woman all week. Then she will pull the baby out, get on her "cell phone" and call her friends to let them know. She even tells her friends the babies names. It's pretty cute. Here she is reading C.J. a bedtime story from the inside of his crate.
Last weekend, G's boss had a company paintball game out at his house. He and his son have really gotten into paintball and have made their own field on their land. We had a great time playing and riding around in their amphibious ATVs. L loved going for a ride. She thought is was a roller coaster and still is talking about it.
Here are Captain L and Captain T playing pirates at a play date.

That's about all that's going on here.
Okay, I've got one funny story for the week. My little brother, who is 7, was sitting in front of us at church on Sunday. He has really bad ADD and was out of his medicine. We are meeting in a temporary facility while our new building is being built so everyone was having a little trouble with distractions. He was getting really anxious about half way through the preacher's sermon and started tapping his feet. He realized it was too noisy and sat figiting for a minute. I could tell his poor little body was about to explode as he looked for something to either a)get him out of church or b)occupy his mind. All of a sudden, he makes a gun with his hands and shoots the preacher. I know it's wrong, but it was so funny. He figuired out how to solve the problem, I guess. After I told my mom, she told the preacher who thought it was hysterical.
Anyway, have a great week!
