Where, oh where, has the last month gone?

Wow! I can not believe it's been a month since I last posted. Sorry! My computer crashed a few weeks ago and like a champ, G had it up and running, completely rebuilt, the next morning. My brain crashed somewhere around the same time and has not recovered quite as quickly. I guess it needs a rebuild, as well. I know I have pictures to post, but I don't think I ever made it back on the network, so I will post them when I can access them again. I just wanted to post a few fun moments we have had the last couple weeks.

1. One night at dinner, L was carrying on about something and I looked down and said, "You are such a drama queen". She got very irritated and told me, "No, I'm a drama princess". Point taken.

2. Tuesday night we were taking my two 15 year old sisters home after they had watched 8 two year olds for our life group. The girls were telling us about what kid had done what (in typical teenage girl lingo) when there was a break in the conversation. L decided to pick it up with, "He hit his head...and I was like...Holy Cow!" This from my 2 year old! Oh my, she's been around her aunts a little too much.

3. G celebrated his 35th birthday last weekend and Leah asked at least a hundred times, "How old you be again, Daddy?"

4. L's new favorite phrase when she is wound up is "I'm SO excited right now".

5. We have been planning a trip with G's family to go to Orlando in April (see #4) and have talked a lot about what we are going to do there. On Friday, I told L to tell my dad, her G-Daddy, bye because he was going on an airplane to Honduras. He is continuing work with a mission group there, trying to get an orphanage up and running. L got really excited for him and said, "Wow, he gets to go ride roller coasters!". In her little two year old (spoiled) mind, that's what you do after you get off the airplane.

6. L has finally entered one of the most annoying stages a child goes through. The "WHY" stage. This may be my favorite stage, right up there with puberty, menopause and senility. My response to her why is a why of my own. I just start saying "why L, why L, why L?". Unfortunately for me, my daughter has my smart-aleckness. Her new response is simply "because I want a baby sister" as if to say top that mom! She must buy into the "if Chewbacca is a Wookie, you must acquit!" theory. Oh the fun!

Anyway, we've had a good busy couple of weeks. Hopefully I will get some more pictures up here and be able to keep up for a while. Take care!
