Magic Kingdom - Now with Pictures!!!

This is going to be one disappointing blog tonight. I have no pictures to upload. G caught a cold and went right to bed when we got home tonight. I am sure if I tried to put the pictures on the computer myself, I wouldn't do it right and it would just be more work for him. So, I will be patient. Hopefully we will get them up tomorrow and then I will rewrite this post with pictures. Until then, here is what we did today. We got up early and went to Magic Kingdom. Our first rides were Aladdin's Flying Carpets and Pirates of the Caribbean, followed by the Jungle Cruise. Then we went to the Haunted Mansion. After that we split up. B, G and I went on Thunder Mountain and Splash Mountain. Pops, Mammy and L waited in line a really long time and rode Dumbo and the Tea Cups. Then we ate lunch and went to the afternoon parade. It was SO hot out. There was no shade anywhere. L loved it though. We then got L settled in her stroller for a nap and B, G and I headed off to Space Mountain.
Apparently just as L was falling asleep, some very intelligent Disney employee in a Stitch (some alien guy) costume came over to the stroller. We had a blanket hanging from the top of the stroller so that the sun would stay off of her and so that she would not be distracted. This guy peeks through the blanket and then rips it off and yells "BOO". It's a really good thing I wasn't there because he would have seen some of my Tae Kwon Do skills put to work on his alien hiney. I couldn't believe he would do that. Is this guy a moron? He obviously has never had to put a child down for a nap before. Poor Mammy and Pops had to work pretty hard to get her back asleep. After that Pops, B and I rode Space Mountain again. Then G, B and I rode it. It was the only big ride near where Mammy and L were resting. It is a great ride though.

At this point L had taken a nap, but was still pretty cranky. She had a major, 2 year old melt down. She finally sucked it up and we went on Peter Pan. We then hit Snow White, It's a Small World and Winnie the Pooh. By then it was time to head back up front for the Light Parade. It was really neat. L just loves parades and this one definitely didn't let her down. I'm headed to bed now. I promise I will post some pictures from today as soon as I get them.

Update: Here are some pictures from the day.

Poor Glenn. I hope he feels better tomorrow.

I'm so glad Leah was able to get over her tantrum and enjoy the rest of the day. It would have been horrible if she missed Snow White (since it's her favorite Princess), Winnie the Pooh (because I love the Pooh bear) and It's a Small World (simply because it's a classic).

Let's all be grateful Becky wasn't there when the alien acted like a complete fool. It would have been sad to see her get kicked out of the park. Now that I think about it, it's probably good I wasn't their either.

Have fun and enjoy the rest of your trip.

Maybe you should stop posting because you're making me more and more jealous. I hope everyone starts feeling better and have a great time at Animal Kingdom tomorrow. Don't worry too much about CJ; everything is under control. Promise.
