A Pirate's Life for Me

Well, we have arrived in Florida. The flight was fine. To our surprise, L didn't sleep at all this flight. Between missing her nap yesterday and waking up way too early today, she was so tired by the time we got the rental car. By 3:00 we had ridden in G-Daddy's van, flew on a plane, rode on the "train" (airport tram), rode a bus and switched to a minivan. That's enough to wear anyone out.

We got checked into the condo and took a little nap. The condo is awesome. Apparently they are trying to open it up as a time share deal and so the rates were ridiculously low, but you don't have to attend any presentations. They are just trying to get people here. It's a beautiful place and our condo is bigger than our house. After nap, we went to the Pirate Adventure Dinner Show. We had some trouble with not having a place to sit (they overbooked), but once we got a manager and a table, we enjoyed it. The show was entertaining and the food was alright. There were several high school groups there so it was like an invasion of the teenagers. L absolutely loves any type of show. She really gets into them. She mimics the actors and tries to sing and act along. It's pretty cute. There were several opportunities for her to get involved in the show, but she was a little too timid this time. One of her favorite parts was when the pirate kissed the princess "just like M and LQ do".

Well, I think I better head to bed. We have a big week ahead. In the morning we are going to have a devotional and then head over to Universal Studios for the day. We will be sure to post a daily update and some pictures of the day.

Man, you guys didn't waste any time getting this vacation started.

Glad you liked the show. Can you even imagine what it was like to be there next to Chris? My ears were ringing with all the "Arrrrghs" and "Aye, mateys".

CJ's doing great! No seizures yet. Hope Leah's not missing him too much.

You guys have fun tomorrow.
