Epcot

Today was our last theme park day. We spent it at Epcot. The park was having some type of flower festival and there were beautiful flowers and topiaries everywhere. We ran into a store at the opening of the park and found a very little, digital camera. M and P bought it for L and she had so much fun taking pictures throughout the day. Here are a few of them.

We started out in the Innoventions section. It is pretty much a playground of new technology. G was able to get both his Mom and Dad to try out the Wii. I think they actually enjoyed it. We then went over to Living with the Land. We have all skipped this ride many times because it looked so cheesy. It actually wound up being quite interesting. They take you inside a green house were they grow some of the food you eat at the theme parks. They are working with NASA on all sorts of projects and have things such as a 9 pound lemon and pumpkin trees to see. We then ate lunch and went to ride Nemo, one last time. L was ready for a nap at that point so we walked through the World Showcase, stopping only long enough for a Popsicle and snow cone.

L had only been asleep about 45 minutes when we passed a line to meet Snow White. Since this is L's new favorite princess and the only one we didn't see in Disneyland, we decided it was worth it to wake her up. We woke her up once we were in line. We got to the front of the line and guess what? It was time for her 10 minute break. Go figure! It did give us time to get L's hair fixed up and show her the pins we bought while she was napping.

We then found some Disney employees to trade pins with and finished our souvenir shopping. We had talked about going back to Downtown Disney, but none of us had the energy to. We went back to the hotel for some pizza and a dip in the hot tub instead.
