Marriage and Babies

The last several day, L has played with her baby dolls a lot. She is constantly feeding, clothing, rocking, bathing, etc. at least one baby. She wants to either match her clothes with her babies or she wants nothing but a diaper on so that they will match. She takes at least one to bed with her every night and insists that one ride with us in the car. She even brings her baby carrier so that the baby can have a seatbelt and carseat too. I personally think she is trying her hardest to prove that she is perfectly capable of being a big sister, just in case there was any question.

Yesterday she was telling me, for the umpteenth time, that she wanted to have a baby in her tummy. I once again explained to her that she had to wait until she got older and got married. She lit up and said, "Okay! There is a wedding dress at Nana's house". I burst out into laughter and she continued, "No, Mommy! It fits. It does!". I think she is willing to do anything to get a baby.
