Day 5
Thursday, August 2nd - After our late night partying, we were back at the house at 10 am. We had a little more stripping and sanding to do before lunch and then spent the afternoon staining. We got everything stained and ready for a clear coat. I don't think anyone who sees the cabinets will know how much work we really put into them. There were so many crevasses and corners to sand. It was tons of work, but I am so happy with the results so far. Having friends to work with made this dreaded job so much more tolerable. I think we almost had fun. I owe the gals big time!

Wow, those look awesome! I gotta say, when I first saw those cabinets, I didn't think there was much hope for them. You're tenacious!
This is going to look like a totally different house by the time you guys are done. I can't wait to see it. Hope you get some rest this weekend. I'm sure you're pooped.
