The Big Date

So I had a doctor's appointment today. It was for the gestational diabetes test. I got to drink the "yummy" orange syrup and have some blood drawn. The bottle cracked me up. They call it "Glucola". Yeah, give it a catchy name and it will go down easier, right? Other than that, the doc checked Baby Cakes heartbeat and gave me some prescriptions for my wheezing. I think it is just the weather here causing it. Yesterday it was warm, last night we had hail and now it's cool and beautiful. I wish it would just pick a season. Also, she thinks I may have some kidney stones so I go for an ultrasound on my kidney on Monday. I went by the hospital to register for delivery and it kind of scared me. It is absolutely amazing how fast second pregnancies go. I can't believe D-Day is right around the corner. The doctor also scheduled my C-Section. It's kind of weird to know this far in advance. "Reservation for 3, on the 25th, around, say 1:00 pm, non-smoking section, please". Anyway, if all goes as planned, Baby Cakes will make her arrival on April 25th, 2008. I better quit rambling, as this post is already scattered enough. I think it's the Glucola rushing to my head.
