I know that I have promised to post about the cruise and I still plan to do so. I also need to post about the camping trip we took this weekend. We had a wonderful time, but I came back sick.....really sick.
I was having some asthma issues all last week. They got worse while camping, but I figured it was due to the smoke, trees, etc. By the time we got home Sunday afternoon, I was crashing hard. By Sunday night I was running a temp of 102 degrees after Tylenol. Monday morning I went to the doctor and he said basically everything from the top of my head to my belly button, that is attached to my respiratory system is infected (sinus, ears, bronchitis, tonsils....although I'm almost positive I had those removed). Anyway, they couldn't find an antibiotic shot that I wasn't allergic too, so he put me on an oral antibiotic and said to continue the breathing treatments and Tylenol every four hours. I am finally feeling slightly better today, except for the fact I have badly bruised my ribs with all the coughing. I think I'm on the road to recovery since the fever is down to 99-100 degrees after Tylenol now. According to the boxes I just threw away I've been through 120 tissues, 2 bottles of Tylenol, several packs of Sudafed, about a dozen breathing treatments and too many loads of laundry. Did I mention when you cough hard enough to bruise your ribs and your pregnant, your bladder loses everytime? TMI, I know.
Anyway, I went ahead an went to my ultrasound on Monday and the tech said my kidneys looked okay. Wheh! She also took some pictures of Baby Cakes face (which we had yet to see) and confirmed again that she was indeed a girl. I will post those as soon as we get them scanned.
Please keep me in your prayers, for rest and quick recovery. It's so hard to rest when you are at home......especially when the breathing treatments hype up the baby.

I hope you feel better! I know the asthma alone is tough to deal with as I've experienced in this pg.
You're in my prayers!
