On Sweet Pea's second birthday we started a new tradition. Every year on her birthday, she gets to paint a canvas that is then hung in her playroom. It has been fun to see her paintings evolve over the last 3 years. I think one day she will enjoy having these, but for now she really enjoys the painting part.

August 2008 - 4 years oldThe last painting was done this morning. It includes her name, each letter in a different spot, 2 rainbows, a circle, a smiley face with a chin and a lot of letter H's, since that is her favorite to write/paint.

What an awesome tradition!! That is something that will be treasured for many years to come! Can't wait to see what she does when she is 16!!
