Getting There

I plan to dedicate some time to the blog this week. I still need to get Sweet Pea's 4 year old post and Peanut's 4th and 7th month.

Until then, some changes have been going around in the house. Sweet Pea and Peanut have both had some rough behavior lately. I think part of it is over tiredness. We've gone back to the basics with a zero tolerance policy. We will see how well it works. I think I am even going to let Peanut cry it out at night again so that I can get the sleep I need.

Also, Daddy-O found out that his days of working solely from the house may be coming to an end. A few days a week he may be going into a local office.

With this change came the need for a second car. For now we have been sharing the Escape and he either takes his motorcycle (when it's been running) or bummed a ride when he need to. So, yesterday we purchased a 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan. It will be nice to have the option to haul more people and Sweet Pea loves it. We got a great deal on it. It goes back to the dealership tomorrow because they are upgrading the seats to leather (didn't even know you could do that on a used car) and installing a factory DVD player. It worked out really well since we got it for half the price of a new (even though it's 9 months old and has 20,000 miles on it) and we get to upgrade the features we wanted. If we had bought new, we would have had to buy the highest end which comes with a lot of bells and whistles we didn't really want (ie. navigation). We aren't looking forward to having a car payment again, but it was definitely time for a second vehicle.
