Yesterday Peanut got sick and was still getting violenly sick, even after she had nothing to eat for over 5 hours. When we called the oncall pedi, she said we needed to get seen because of her age and the likelyhood of dehydration. The doctors did say if we had waited until this morning she would have most likely been admitted. We were discharged early this morning after she was able to tolerate one ounce of fluid with the help of some Zofran (the drug they give chemo patients). We took a taxi to Walgreens for her medicine, some crackers and the ever important wipeys and then came home. The medicine made her really sleepy and she slept the rest of the night. She just finished another dose and nursed so we will see how that goes. Please pray that she will be well for the flight and that the rest of us avoid catcing it. Thank you.
