Cupid Was Busy
For Valentine's Day breakfast we enjoyed heart pancakes and bacon with the girls.
We opened our cards and candy and then Daddy-O left to go work on his motorcycle. Later that evening we met up with Chris, Kelsey, Clara and Aunt Christa for a night of bowling.

We had a great time and bowled for about 2 hours. Since we haven't had the best luck in the past with Valentine's day, we decided to not make any romantic plans, but rather just have a fun day. That way we wouldn't be disappointed like the years before. Since we made no plans, everyone was well, nothing came up and we could have gone out anyway. Aunt Christa did come back home with us, so after we got the girls to bed, we snuck out for a while. We started at Starbucks and ended up driving around looking at the mansions on the lake. We ended the night having a drink at Friday's. Pretty lame, I know, but we did enjoy having a little adult conversation without being interrupted.

What a fun day and what great pics. I have never even thought of heart pancakes...I always makes doggy face or Mickey Mouse ones. If Ken makes them he calls them "modern art". It's not too hard to figure that one out (MESS!).
I know...I'll begin a blog...and then we'll all pick a certain day and have a pancake competition!!! YES! It's as close as I will ever come to Linda and her "Daring Bakers" challenge.
LOVED those girls sitting on the floor in the bowling pics.
Thanks for sharing your V-Day with us.
