Today some of us opted for a lighter hike through downtown Gatlinburg, while Micah, Lisa, Christa and Ruthie braved the rapids on a white water rafting adventure. I don't have copies of their pictures yet, but will post them when I do. It was fun to see all of the little shops, especially the old candy shops. We watched while they made taffy and other assorted candies. We had ice cream and freshly made caramel corn.
Dad and the bear
My little Leah's future husband is probably going to have some choice words for us someday. Leah is obsessed with having her picture taken EVERYWHERE. Some of this stems from all of her travels and some of it stems from her Mammy (Daddy-O's mom) being a little camera happy. Regardless, it does slow us down a bit. Here are a FEW of the pictures she insisted on taking while walking the streets.
"AH, look at this cute purse. I need a picture!"
"AH, G-Daddy and a bear. I need a picture!"
The rest of the evening was spent relaxing at home. I think we could all get used to the theater room and hot tub routine every night.

"AH, a bear bench. I need a picture!!!"
And my personal favorite...
"AH, a big, plastic rock. I NEED a picture!!!"This was covering a power box
I promise, future son-in-law, we have tried to break her of this habit and will continue to "wean" her.
One of the many touristy things to do on every single corner is the "Old Time Photos". Daddy-O has always wanted to do one of these, but it is not really "my bag". I did go ahead and suggest that we get one done this time since we had the time and it wasn't in a theme park, covered in sweat sort of setting. It did turn out pretty cute, despite the fact I look like a granny.

I love all of the Leah pictures! I've noticed that Jake has started posing lately saying, "cheese" in random places. I think I may be taking too many pictures as well :)
Oh, I did find the sippy cup under the sofa...we'll get it back to you!
