Got your attention, huh?
The past few weeks have been getting busy. There have been many changes and a lot to get done. About a month ago, Daddy-O began working part-time at Starbucks so that we could get on some decent benefits. He often has to be at work at 4:00 am, so our whole routine has changed to help make this easier on him. I have vowed to take some of his "duties" off his plate and have made myself get up earlier to get more accomplished. While this has been a big change for all of us, I think we are starting to settle in. The job has been great. It gives Daddy-O some social time, a few hours away from the computer, he will be eligible for full benefits (medical, vision, stock, vacation, etc.) with only part-time hours and it is the least invasive job when it comes to affecting the girls. Often he is home from work before they wake for the day. I hope that he doesn't over do it though. I can't explain how grateful I am that God blessed me with a man that would do ANYTHING for his family. Even taking on an extra job, just for the benefits. We are blessed.
On top of this, there have been changes in my work schedule, longer gymnastics classes, a fence and a shed to build, lots of doctor's appointments, playgroups and many trips to the pool. This past week we were able to go see Cirque du Soleil's show, Saltimbanco, as well as the Ringling Bros. Circus. The girls had a blast at both. We've also been looking at preschools for this fall. Things have been CRAZY. Whoever said summers were for relaxing, must have been childless.
