We got lazy yesterday and didn't get a post put up. Sorry! Yesterday we checked out of the hotel and went to Downtown Disney for lunch and to look around one last time. It was very hard for L to understand we weren't going back into Disneyland. We went back and forth on whether or not to go back for one more day, but in the end decided to go on to Malibu.
We got to the Watson's house in the early afternoon and spent the rest of the day visiting and letting L and J play.
Today we went to the Hero's Garden on Pepperdine's campus. It is dedicated to one of the victims of Flight 93. It was a beautiful tribute and an amazing view. The campus is absolutely gorgeous. After that we took the kids to a playground in Malibu and then to lunch. This afternoon G, L and I drove down to Zuma Beach. It was beautiful. It was very windy and the water was freezing, but we still really enjoyed it. L kept asking for her bathing suit and played in the water up to her thighs. It was probably 65 degrees! Tonight we went with the Watson's to a Pepperdine women's volleyball game. It was a lot of fun and the team was great. It's off to bed now. I'll try and write more tomorrow.
