Today we spent a good deal of the day at the fairlyland of all fairylands. L was very excited as we waited to be allowed into the park, but once we entered, it was apparent that she did not realize the magnitude of all that is Disneyland.
Shortly after entering the park, we met up with both Goofy and Mickey, and from what we hear, that's almost unheard of. L wasn't so fond of Goofy (we met him first), as he was kind of big, but she warmed to Mickey, who was much more her size. Other than that, we pretty much struck out today getting autographs, although we did get several up-close sightings of characters, and Minnie even gave L a kiss on the cheek!
We are able to get on several rides, but we were disappointed to find several of the rides either broken or broke while we were in line. We'll try again tomorrow to get on those. One of the first rides we got on was Pirates of the Caribbean, and while L was terrified, she "managed her fear" quite well and never cried. She did, however, hold our hands very tightly.
We did much more, and we'll let y'all know all about it later. Overall, it was a very fun, tiring day.

Wow, Mickey, Goofey and a kiss from Minnie - very exciting. We're glad you all are having fun and that Leah, so far, is managing her fear (very important).
