Friday, I took L to the mall with two of her friends. She still wasn't walking and I thought maybe some peer pressure at the play area would help. Boy was I wrong. She was so upset. All she wanted to do was keep up with LB and T (hard enough when your walking!). She sat and cried for most of the time we were there. I took her to ride the carousel as a peace treaty and we left happy.

Last night at dinner, she did start taking a few steps. It looked horrible at first, but by the end of the night, she had it down with a limp. She is getting around some today. She still limps and gets tired very easily, but things are at least starting to get better. After dinner, my brother and sister-in-law came back to the house with us. L had an accident on the way home so I threw her in a bubble bath. She was having a blast "swimming" and squirting M and LQ with her bath squirters. M was trying to show her something with holding the cup underwater where it wouldn't fill up with water and he was explaining that it was the theory of surface tension or something like that. He asked us "what is it?" and L gave him a look like your kidding and told him, "a cup" in one of those "duh" tones. It was great!

Today, G and I had our first belt test for Tae Kwon Do. We started taking a class at Master Cho's Tae Kwon Do a few weeks ago and have really enjoyed it. My brothers and sisters all take classes there as well. All of us got our yellow belts today. We even got to break a board. It took forever to get everyone through the test, but it was fun seeing the higher ranked belts perform and the little kids do their stuff. The picture above is of all my brothers and sisters that tested today, Master Cho, our instructor (Bill), G and I. L absolutely loves watching us and we plan to get her in the class real soon. She already tells us to do our jumping jacks, brings us weights, and makes us practice while we are trying to watch t.v. She knows how to count to five in Korean and is learning a lot from just watching us. Today she was upset that she couldn't try to break a board. I'm sure she will soon enough!
