Kick her while she's down....how about the eye?

So you've heard the expression, "kick you while your down". My poor little L is getting to live through one of those downs. For three weeks she's been sick with a cold. Two weeks ago she had the stomach flu for a week. The day her tummy felt better her cold turned into a horrible, hacking cough. Yesterday she took the last dose of her antibiotic from our appointment last Friday. That was approximately 2 hours before I noticed she now has pink eye. I called the doctor today. I thought maybe they had a one week guarantee. You know, buy one get one free in a week type. No such luck! I guess we missed out since technically Friday last week and Thursday this week are two different weeks. Oh well! The doctor said L still had a sinus infection, her "perfect ears" from Friday now had horrible infections and she has pink eye. So it's back to the antibiotics with the addition of eye drops. Oh the joy! Normally you see this type of thing in kids that are in day cares. I don't have a clue how she keeps getting sick. She hasn't been to the church nursery in 3 weeks and the only kids she has been around are my brothers and sisters who are oddly enough, all well at the moment. I just don't understand.
Attention all germs, viruses and bugs. If I catch you in my house or attempting to attack my precious little daughter, I will squish you and coat you in bleach mixed with Lysol.
Hope you all are well!
