Easter 2007

Easter was extremely cold this year. The high was 54 degrees with nasty storms and winds. The low was in the 30's, in Houston! Our church had services at a local park and since we have had our share of sickness already this year, we decided to stay warm, dry and at home. The Easter Bunny brought L a basket full of goodies. She got a Tinkerbell camera, Curious George DVD, some candy, a few toys and a Belle doll. L has never been real attached to a blanket or toy and this doll was nice and soft. I thought it would make a good snugly.

*side note - I thought L might actually be "bonding" with her Belle doll and so I went out and bought all of the other princess, as well. That night she told me she didn't want to sleep with a doll. She wanted them ALL on her shelf. Oh well!

For lunch we went over to Mammy and Pops (G's parents) house. J, C, T and K joined us, since K was to little to travel. Uncle B, Uncle N, some of Mammy and Pops friends, N and W and their 7 month old daughter, C, were also there. We had a wonderful lunch and the kiddos got even more treats. (thanks again, Mammy and Pops)

After lunch the weather was clear enough to go outside for an egg hunt. T and L had more fun finding what was in the eggs then actually finding the eggs.
