Eggs-actly how long?

This evening I attempted to boil some eggs for L to decorate. I found a really cool kit that had food coloring stamps instead of the traditional dye. L thinks stamps are the coolest thing on earth right now and was very excited. Only problem is, I guess I don't know how to boil eggs. I broke one open for her to try and the yoke was still somewhat liquid like. Is there such a thing as sunny side up hard boiled eggs? I don't eat eggs and now I know it's because I can't cook them. Go figure. We will try again tomorrow and this time I'll leave them boiling just a little longer.
