The Matching Game

L and I made up a new game while we were in Florida to pass the time. I wanted to see how clever she could get and boy was I surprised. I would say a word and she would come up with something associated with that word. Sometimes it was an opposite, sometimes a synonym. Here are a few of her witty examples.

Mommy says Blue - L replies Red
Flower - Tree
Snow White - Cinderella
Right hand - Left hand
Chicken - Fries, oh and ketchup (LOL)
Socks - Shoes
Nana - G-Daddy
Daytime - Nighttime
Dr. Haggerty (her pediatrician) - Stethoscope (huh?)
Mc Donalds - Chick Fila
Policeman - Fireman
Uncle Neil - Uncle Brian
Apples - Bananas

Her speech and conversational skills absolutely amaze me. She is so social and a very vocal kid. Too bad that's not always a good thing. Most every sentence she uses right now has a "because" and a "and then" in it.

Another thing she has started doing is when she is uncomfortable or faced with a stranger she will tell me, "I'm just being really shy right now, Mommy". It's pretty cute.

She reminds me a lot of Jayden. He talks a lot like her. Some of his "words" are: like & actually. Yeah, he just sounds so grownup. They should just get together and talk or something!

It sounds like you guys had an awesome trip! I know what you mean about the allergy crap. That's what I've been having trouble with for the past week. Stinks!
