When I was pregnant with L, we had a horrible time trying to find out what her gender was. I mean, seriously here are the best ultrasound pictures we got from the kid.

When we went to birthing class, they recommended that we bring an ultrasound with us for a focal point. Yeah right! Just what I want to focus on. The little alien shaped thing with a really bent neck causing all sorts of trouble in me. That'll make me want to push.
We finally got pretty fed up with the baby hiding its goods everytime the camera came out. One day on the way home from the medical center, we stopped by Jillian's for lunch. They had a machine that would show what your future children would look like. We decided to give it a whirl.

Meet Bubbles. We handed this picture out to family, posted it on our fridge, named it Bubbles and died laughing everytime we discussed who are future children would favor. Literally we would laugh until we hurt while looking at this picture. Time went by, L was born, we fell in love with her and I forgot all about Bubbles. While cleaning some stuff off of my computer one day, I came across this picture again. I almost died. It looked so much like L, it was scary. I yelled for G to come see it and we laughed for a while. Then I had a sudden realization that everyone who had ever told me how cute my daughter was, had lied. I was mad. It's bad enough to be bias about your children, but to have others taunt you and egg you on in your beliefs?
Bubbles - here and now
I just thought now may be a
good time to bring this up, with L's new shirt and all.
I realize that my daughter doesn't look just like the picture above. However I found it extremely funny how much she did look like the machine predicted. I do believe that she is the cutest kid ever....biased or not!

UM, L is so much cuter than bubbles! And I am not just saying that. That is too funny though. LOL!
