Here we go again

If you will, try to recall the last line of my last update on the house. Give up? Well, now that you have been reminded, get this. The asset manager called our agent Friday evening at 5:00 and told her they were lowering the price on the house. How low? Just $2,900 higher than our original bid, which mind you is $2,100 lower than what we originally said would be our high and $4,100 less than the last offer we made to them. I think these people are crazy!!!

In reality, I think God is just telling us, "I have this (your lives) all worked out. Now just sit back, relax and let me take care of you". We serve a pretty awesome God. It's almost like he said, "Them coming back with your original offer isn't enough for you" and then one upped them.

We submitted our offer, again, on Friday. We should know on Monday if it was accepted this time. We are feeling more confident this time around for several reasons.

1. The listing actually changed to show the price change. This time it is not he said, she said.
2. Since the agent called us as they changed it, we had an offer submitted within 2 hours of the change.
3. Since they came down lower than what we had offered it is apparent they have not had anyone else place an offer on it.
4. We really feel like God reopened this door for us.

As soon as the offer is accepted, we will start the financing process. Since we were preapproved, it shouldn't be a big deal. Then we need to sell our house and quick. We have a family coming tomorrow afternoon to look at it. Wish us luck!!!
