Day 1

Friday, July 27th - Today was closing day on the new house. G and I went to sign papers, while my mom and dad repaired the broken plumbing at our current house. We then met at the new house and went straight to work. Today's goal was to replace the garage door so that we would have somewhere safe to store stuff. Jerry and Susie brought over lunch. G, Dad and Jerry worked on the garage door, while Susie and I removed the kitchen cabinets and drawers. It was a long day, but we accomplished what we set out to do. The garage door is in and operable, it just needs to be connected to the opener and have the trim work put on. It is pretty amazing what a difference it makes! Since L was tied up with Micah and Lisa for most of the day, I brought C.J., our Beagle, over to check out the new place.
