Day 2

Monday, July 30th - Today we woke up to L throwing up and sick with the flu. I had my mom, my siblings (Andrew, Caleb, Ruthie, Christa and Michelle) and my neighbor's boyfriend (John) coming to the house to help move stuff on John's trailer. I helped get L settled down in the office and told G, that I was going to take advantage of the help. We started loading stuff and managed to get everything out of the attic, the swing set, patio furniture, L's play house, bikes, trailers and everything else we could find on one load. We got to the new house and had everything unloaded in half an hour. It was awesome. Apparently, John has some military training or something and wasn't tired enough. He put the kids to work. They tore out all of the carpet and padding downstairs, all of the tack board, all of the wood trim, the wall paper, loaded it all on the trailer, with the old garage door, and hauled it all to the dump. Not only did they do this all, but without air conditioning (95+ in the house) and they didn't complain once! It was such a huge help to have them all. The house looks so much better already. Unfortunately, they worked so fast, I didn't get any before pictures. We ate some pizza for lunch and then split ways. By then G wasn't feeling well and neither was I. We spent the rest of the day recovering.
