Zoo Day

On Friday, we went to the zoo with a playgroup from church. We had a good time and the weather was WONDERFUL. I think the high was 88 and it was almost chilly earlier on. I think we wound up with about 15 or 20 kids. The lessons I learned were 1) Don't expect to see many animals when that many moms get out of the house and have a chance to visit and 2) 20 kids is too many to herd through a zoo. We did have a great time playing, visiting and even meeting some new friends.

I am so glad we got this trip to the zoo in when we did because I believe summer is here and there is no way we are going during the heat.

Oh my goodness, that groundhog tube picture makes me claustrophobic just looking at it! That little tunnel is so small; I can't believe ya'll stuffed that many preschoolers up it!
