Rice Cereal

At the doctor's appointment the doctor said we could start Peanut on rice cereal. She has been waking up at night for another feed. She had been sleeping between 11 and 13 hours straight, but has since started waking at random times to eat. This coupled with the fact she will stare you down, watch your every bite and attempt to grab your food and plate, made the doctor think she was ready.

Her very first time (August 8th) she did great. She had no trouble manipulating the rice. She didn't even push any back out. I think this kid could eat a rib eye if you cut it up a little. I think her having to take Prevacid has helped her learn to use her tongue. They are Solutabs so she has to move them around and swallow them. She liked the cereal and didn't even get impatient with the whole waiting on bites concept. She was a little fussy that night. We continued to feed her rice cereal at dinner for several nights. She was getting terribly fussy afterwards, having more trouble with her reflux and was still getting up to eat at night, so we quit.

I decided to add it back in today and see how it goes.
