Lake Babies

On Sunday evening we went to Lake Conroe with Claudia, Lillie Beth and Jackson. We took their pontoon boat out for swimming, tubing and relaxing. Peanut and Sweet Pea both loved their first time out on the lake. We shut the boat off and let the kids jump off the back into the lake. Sweet Pea was a little timid, but Lillie Beth had no fear. Peanut loved swimming in the lake and would say "oh" every time another boat's wake hit us.

Once we got back to the house, the kids played while I fed Peanut and Daddy-O loaded the car. When I finished, Jackson came in and became VERY interested in Peanut (especially for a 16 month old). He would come over to me on the couch, pick her up out of my hands and put her in his lap. He would then kiss on her and lay his head on her tummy. Every time I put her back on my lap, he would simply pick her up and take her back. Even when we got her in the carrier, he was still loving on her. He was so sweet and surprisingly gentle.
