4 Months Old

This has been a really big month for you, Peanut. This month you:

- Weigh 15 pounds, 3 ounces (50th percentile) on 9/17

- Are 26 inches long (90th percentile) *may have been mis-measured

- Have a 17 inch head circumference (90th percentile)

- Moved from your bassinet in our room to your crib in your own room

- Forgot how to sleep through the night

- Found a new best friend in the bathroom

- Hold your head up very well

- Have really started to notice other babies, especially your cousin

- Have perfected your pout

- Worked hard on new looks

- Nurse 5 to 7 times a day, one of them being during the night

- Tried rice cereal and loved it (8/8)

- Eat rice or oatmeal twice a day

- Much prefer oatmeal to rice

- Taught Daddy how to say "ahh"

- Are still cutely chubby

- Wear size 3-6 month clothes

- Wear size 0 or 1 shoes

- Have switched to size 3 diapers

- Attended your first birthday party and met Chuck E. Cheese

- Had your first boyfriend

- Still love bath or shower time

- Love going to the lake

- Being outside

- Took your first trip to Schlitterbahn

- Can sit up with support

- Like to have tummy time

- Are very strong and are constantly moving

- Have started having to go to the nursery during church

- Have began to notice the television and enjoy watching it with Sissy

- Like to play in your Bumbo chair

- Were dedicated to God at Grace Crossing Church on 8/24

- Enjoy talking and babble a lot

- Learned to sit in your high chair

- Are a wonderful part of our family

Even though it has been four short months since you joined our family, we can't imagine life without you. You are our sweet baby and your big sister's pride and joy.
