7 Months Old

Peanut, you are growing up so fast. This month you:
- Weigh 17 pounds, 7 ounces (75th percentile) 11/10
- Are 26 inches tall (50th percentile)
- Have a 17 inch head circumference (75th percentile)
- Look just like your big sister did at this age
- Decided that although baby food is okay, table food is much better
- Ate your first all table food meal of pot roast, potatoes and carrots on 10/27
- Insist on eating whatever we are eating
- Will not eat baby food if there is "real" food in sight
- Cut your first tooth, the bottom left one on 10/30
- Can feed yourself finger foods
- Sadly eaten your first Eggo, hamburger, pizza, turkey, ham, and tastes of cookie, cake and ice cream
- Still nurse 5 times a day and are very quick (under 10 minutes)

- Have even had pretzels

- Use a very interesting motion to move food from your palm to you finger tips (it almost looks like you are rolling a coin across your knuckles)
- Have great hand-eye coordination

- Have a favorite blankie that you sleep with. You usually cover your head and then wrap it under one arm and suck on the corner of it.

- Still will not take a pacifier, but enjoy chewing on them.

- Celebrated your first Halloween dressed as a piggy
- Can make the "mmm" sound (11/3)

- Have begun running your fingers through my hair very softly

- Still love being outside and swinging

- Learned to army crawl (11/11)

- Fell of the bed for the first time

- Have mastered the fake cough

- Attended your first Renaissance Festival

- Ridden your first pony
- Often get admired in public
- Get comments such as, "She is the most well-proportioned baby", "She is the sweetest baby" and "That is the smartest looking baby, I've ever seen". We think they are all true!

- Learned to sleep in public
- Take a 1 1/2 hour morning nap
- Take a 2 1/2 hour afternoon nap
- Sleep from 9:00 pm to 8:30 am, waking once to eat

- Enjoy every minute with your sister and cousin. You can't get enough of them.

- Love to play and want to be in the middle of everything
- Are growing up WAY faster than your mommy wants you to
