8 Months Old

On Christmas day, Peanut turned 8 months old. In the last month you:

- Have learned that beauty and comfort don't always come together

- Learned to blow raspberries, which was surprisingly NOT funny at 4:00 in the morning
- Started making the sounds "ba ba", "da da" and "ma ma"

- Began army crawling very quickly toward anyone who has something resembling food

- Can pull up on just about anything from a laundry basket to a pizza box

- Wave bye bye

- Are always on the go

- Enjoyed your first Thanksgiving meal

- Explored the wonders of Christmas

- Enjoy playing with Mommy's hair gently while saying, "ohhh"

- Still LOVE your bath time and have graduated to a new seat

- Sleep 10 to 12 hours a night and take 2 naps a day

- Eat two table meals a day and nurse 5 times during the day

- Still adore your sister

- Were not too sure about your first snow

-Really enjoy looking at the pictures on the wall. You even anticipate them, knowing exactly where they are, and love to talk to them

- Can drink from a sippie cup and a straw

- Figured out how to pull up in your crib, but took a while to learn how to get back down

- Enjoyed your first gingerbread house

- Can "sign" more by hitting your leg or the table

- Still have the cutest chubby rolls

- Got to visit someplace that is close to heaven in your book (Blue Bell factory)

- Have turned into a drool monster trying to cut your top teeth
- Are a sweet, energetic little girl
