Tuesday brought more rest, reading and relaxation for us. Peanut did feel a little bit better and her fever came down a little bit. She slept a lot this day. Once, Daddy-O made it back with Sweet Pea, he was feeling bad. He went straight to bed while I tried to pack up for our flight in the morning, care for Peanut and entertain Sweet Pea. It was a very long day.

Day 8 & 9 - The Other Half
So on Monday, while Sweet Pea and Daddy-O were at the parks, here is how Peanut and I spent our day.
Poor Peanut was so, so sick. She was running a high fever and you could tell she was SO uncomfortable. She spent most of the morning hallucinating. She would sit up and look at me, but through me at the same time. She had no clue who I was. She would also bat at things from time to time. She didn't really want to be held much, but wanted me close. She nursed a few times and slept a lot. She would sleep for a minute, get up and crawl two "steps" and then lay back down exhausted. She did this over and over again. Many times she would make it to the end of the bed and hang her head off of the foot of the bed. I think the comforter felt cool on her face. She also wound up with a horrible diaper rash from all of the diarrhea. While she "rested" I became totally submerged in the book The Shack. I am not one who reads much. I usually don't enjoy it, I'm not good at it (sooooo slow and horrible with reading comprehension), but this book sucked me right in. It is a wonderful read. When Daddy-O came home, I was finally able to step out for just a minute to pick up some dinner and more diapers. All in all, I would have rather spent it at the park as a family, but I did enjoy the peace, quiet, a good book and a little R & R.

Poor baby! She's looks miserable. I'm so sorry you guys had to deal with that on vacation.
I cracked up at the Star Wars picture. I didn't even realize it was G at first. That's awesome.
