Well, I called the doctor at noon, after not hearing anything back on the x-ray. Come to find out, she had left a message on my cell phone, after checking the results after hours, last night so that I wouldn't be worried. Trouble is, I didn't get the message on my phone until after 6:00 tonight. Oh well, she gets kudos for trying. After talking with her this afternoon, the radiologist thought he saw some sort of a lesion on the part of Kate's arm, shown on the chest x-ray. After further review on an actual arm x-ray, there is nothing to worry about. I tried not to worry about it (and actually laughed about it some) because of the fact it couldn't have been a clear picture.
That being said, with all of the other stuff going on, I didn't want to ignore it. The nurse also called to check on her immune deficiency test that still isn't back. I guess it was shipped to California and takes a week to process. Today it will still pending. Hopefully we will hear back about it by Friday. For now, Kate is dealing with a little fever, running nose, cough and hoarseness, but seems to be fine with it. We go in next week for her one year (holy cow, that's hard to believe) "well-check" and will be able to regroup with the doctor then. For now, I think we will just lay low and let these "viruses" run their course. Hopefully summer will help and she will outgrow it soon. Thanks again for all the prayers and advice.
