Just Two Weeks

Here is Peanut's hospital photo

In just two weeks, Peanut, you have:

- Learned how to cry, but only use it when you are desperate
- Began to stay awake for longer periods of time
- Become more alert during those awake times
- Figured out how to nurse very efficiently
- Gained 6 ounces since your birth
- Grew 1/4 of an inch
- Figured out how to eat and sleep on a schedule and have mastered it to the point of being more accurate than an atomic clock
- Learned how to hold your head up for several seconds at a time

- Started to focus on what you are looking at
- Cooed for the first time (I actually got it on video)
- Decided that you want nothing to do with a pacifier, but will try desperately for long periods of time to get your fingers in your mouth, before giving up and falling asleep
- Have decided that you love bath time
- Smiled often, yet we still aren't sure if it is intentional
- Have mastered the art of moving like an inch worm to get where you want to be (usually to the chest or right under our chins)
- Managed to steal the hearts of your Mommy, Daddy and Big Sister

*Here is the photo of Sweet Pea we were trying to recapture with Peanut. Although she wouldn't cooperate and go to sleep, I do think we got some good ones.
